Whenever I am in the mood for some Chinese food BUT not at all geared to go out of my house to get some - North Park is always the go-to restaurant for me when it comes to taking out or delivery service. Their food is also super good, so not only is it really convenient but it also makes sense to order from here. My favorites from North Park are the following: Lemon Chicken (I put this on top of the list because I never get sick of it, just the right amount of tanginess that I look for), Yang Chow Fried Rice (goes great with any of the available viands), Special Toast Noodles (crunchy noodles that come with vegetables - great for sharing), Lechon Macau (I think they also have this as a rice topping - really awesome too), and last but not the least, for the rainy season, Fresh Prawn Dumpling and three kinds of mushroom! They also provide set menus for a certain number of people, also good for office party deliveries!
North Park is definitely a go to place for really great Chinese food! I love eating here because the food is really good and the prices are very affordable. It's fun to eat here as a group because you can share different dishes. As a starter, I order their Hakao (shrimp dumpling) and Shark's Fin Dumpling. These are my top two favorite kinds of dimsum and North Park certainly serves really good versions. But the thing that I go here for the most is the Lechon Macau with Yang Chow Fried Rice! It's just really really really good Lechon Macau! The pork is tender and easy to eat but the skin is so crispy and flavorful! I love pairing it with some of the chili they have there too. This dish always leaves a smile on my face! It's definitely one of their best sellers. Just thinking about it is already making me hungry for it! Wouldn't mind having that for dinner right now!
I absolutely love North Park! As a matter of fact, I have had more midnight snacks here than I can count. Some meals were with friends or family, while most were all by lonesome after spending time at my favorite spa which is somewhere in the area. North Park is synonymous to comfort food for me and it's always served fresh, hot and quick. The menu may seem overwhelming, so here are a few of my favorite dishes to get you started: asado siopao, siomai, mandarin noodles in soup with fresh prawn dumplings, lechon macau topped over fried rice, sliced tender beef with clams congee, sweet corn soup, yang chow fried rice, etc. The truth is, it really doesn't matter what you order because I'm sure you'll be happy with it. That's how much I trust this place.
